For over 40 years, Carl Skenes has been entertaining audiences with his unique blend of diverse talents. A performer for all occasions, Carl's expertise includes his audience-pleasing "3-D Balloonimation". He has "played" with balloons since the olden days of "245's"-- no "260's" yet!*
Many of his sculptures saw their genesis back in the 1980's, during street performances in Charleston, SC. Since that time, they have taken him across the United States and around the world-- in television appearances, corporate events, trade shows, festivals, circuses and theme parks.
*The first twister balloon size was the #245 balloon. When fully inflated, the #245 would measure about 2 inches in diameter and about 45 inches in length. They were referred to as "pencil" balloons because of their uninflated size.
