Carl Edward Skenes, III
From a young age, Carl Edward has been a professional performer. In 1994, at the age of seven, he first performed professionally as the "Little Drummer Boy" in the Dixie Stampede Christmas Show (Myrtle Beach, a Dollywood production), a role he reprised in the 1995 show. This was followed by his casting as a kid performer in Disney's Sparkling Christmas Spectacular on the Castle Forecourt Stage at Walt Disney World in 1996, 1997 and 1998. In 1996, he performed in the opening number on the nationally televised Disney Christmas Parade on ABC-TV.
Carl has appeared in many community theater productions. He portrayed Hero in "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum", Eddie in "The Music Comedy Murders Of 1940", and J. Pierpont Finch in "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying".
He is a gifted dancer and musician who sang in a top-ranked high school chorus. But his talents don't end there.
Like his Dad, he is an accomplished balloon artist and magician, and has entertained at the filming of "Christmas in Washington".
In Atlantic City, he performed a one-man show at the Dickens Parlour Theatre in the Tropicana Casino Resort. His act included magic, mentalism, side show stunts and the "art of the bizarre".
Since his return from Atlantic City, he has teamed up with friend Tyler Sutter to create the act known as the "20 Penny Circus", crowd favorites from Universal's "Halloween Horror Nights", "First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival"and "Ripley's Believe it or Not" around the world.
